The EMEA Change Management function is part of the regional COO organisation and is responsible for creating and maintaining the overview of the regional Change portfolio and the subsequent sequencing, business analysis, project management and delivery of change and transformational initiatives in close partnership with coverage teams, product areas, Operations & Technology and control function partners.


**Job Purpose:**


The Business Change Manager will lead efforts to understand and implement changes to Private Bank and Global Wealth Management (GWM) across the EMEA region to adapt to new local and cross border regulations, support business growth plans and support Transformational programs to enhance the client experience & automate controls.


This will require detailed analysis, working in conjunction with Front Office, Product, Control Functions and Operations & Technology teams, in order to assess the impact of the change and subsequently define and implement the appropriate solution into the business.


Key to success in the role is the ability to blend successful project management discipline with a good understanding of the subject matter in order to help shape the outcome. The role will involve interfacing with key senior stakeholders and internal clients across the organization.


**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Define and lead the detailed analysis working with Front Office, Product, Control functions and Infrastructure teams in order to understand the changes necessary due to (a.) Local and Cross-Border regulatory changes; (b.) changes to Citis internal policies and procedures; (c.) Business growth initiatives

+ Work on multiple projects or programs (potentially a combination of tactical and strategic programs) by defining the necessary implementation plans, establishing the appropriate governance and managing them on an ongoing basis

+ Lead and manage Steering Committees identifying, managing and escalating issues, risks and dependencies as appropriate, while working with the various teams in order to define necessary solutions and mitigation plans

+ Develop and lead robust change plans to include internal & external communication plan and training plans

+ Develop Business requirement documents as well as test scripts (as required)

+ Ensure changes are transitioned to the relevant teams in a sustainable manner ensuring the necessary enhancements are made to the control framework

+ Act as an internal consultant, working closely with relevant partners, in order to quickly understand issues and help lead the identification, definition and implementation of the solution


**Experience/Skills:**


+ Demonstrable frontto-back experience of leading or working on initiatives in at least one of the following areas: Complex regulatory initiatives (e.g., MIFID2), large business transformational programs or digital transformation programs working with internal and external technology providers

+ In-depth experience of defining and leading significant change programs across the lifecycle, including analysis, systems implementation, process change and controls and communications and training

+ Experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management in conjunction with experience in a consultancy

+ Experience in delivering client propositions and business initiatives, an advantage

+ Good knowledge of one or more Private Banking products

+ Knowledge of core Private Banking platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos etc. an advantage


**Competencies:**


+ Demonstrated ability to digest and understand implications of complex regulations on business models

+ Able to operate at the appropriate level, understanding the detailed concepts while also understanding the big picture

+ Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge of Private Bank

+ Must be able work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions

+ Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design

+ Willingness to challenge and improve existing processes

+ Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative

+ Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mind-set

+ Self-starter and a strong team player

+ Demonstrable expertise in building and leveraging relationships.

+ Comfortable presenting to and working with senior management

+ Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present the articulate key points to senior management
