AECOM is looking for a Construction Contracts Manager to be based in Denver, CO.

This position is expected to begin in November 2020.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with planning of procurement documents, pre-bid/proposal meetings, conform final contract documents, monitor all aspects of contract compliance, and assist the Client with all contracts related matters.

  • Review contractor invoices for contractual compliance and conduct closeout procedures in support of the PMO Controls Team.

  • Oversees the administration and communication of all elements of contractual terms and conditions from proposal stage through contract close-out and audit.

  • Directly and through subordinates, assists all departments in developing contracts within company and client's policies.

  • Examines estimates and delivery schedules.

  • Assists on bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required.

  • Acts as a liaison between the PMO team and the client's contract administrators.

  • Experience in construction related contracts and general understanding of the different project delivery methods.

  • Understanding of procurement, contract and invoice/ finance activities.

  • Assist client with planning of procurements and setting pre-award schedules for contracts including Board actions.

  • Prepare required reports and correspondence.

  • Monitor all aspects of contract compliance.

  • Responsibility for understanding and managing the end-to-end contract workflows, analytics, and audit requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on complex, multi-phase, design and construction projects.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (including Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional)

  • Ability to assist with planning of procurement documents, pre-bid/proposal meetings, conform final contract documents, monitor all aspects of contract compliance, and assist the Client with all contracts related matters.

  • Review contractor invoices for contractual compliance and conduct closeout procedures in support of the PMO Controls Team
