Configuration and Integration Engineer

The Ethernet Customer Solution (ECS) group within the Network and Edge Group is looking for Network Software Engineer/Customer Software Engineer to focus on the Firmware/ product configuration area of functionality of Intel wired Ethernet products engaging with internal development teams and external customers.

Your role:

• Providing product level support for a large variety of customers ranging from embedded to Tier 1;

• Owning and resolving technical issues for existing products;

• Participating in new product development;

• Reviewing customer designs and providing design-in guidance;

• Representing the customers' technical needs inside Intel;

• Collaborating with other Network Division Engineering disciplines and in general contributing toward making the wired Ethernet customer successful;

• Contributing to processes automation;

• Creating application notes to provide clarity for implementation or specific usage;

• Acting as a technical expert, consultant, analyst to respond to customer requests or events as they occur;

• Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

• Some travel may be required (up to 10 percent).

Qualifications

Important for us:

• Proven experience of 2+ years in testing or software/hardware integration and working with technical documentation;

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both customers and engineers;

• Genuine passion for technology and a curiosity to understand how it works, with a hands-on approach, as well as passion to grow your knowledge and continuously learn as the role and technology evolves;

• Troubleshooting, problem solving, multi-tasking skills;

• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with GIT/Azure DevOps Framework

• Understanding of version management, hands on integration tasks

• Knowledge in Networking

• C# experience
