Compliance Testing Manager - Technology & Reporting- SVP

**The Technology & Reporting Group Manager reports in to the Compliance Testing Chief of Staff office and is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong technical and strategic awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.**


**Understand the Citi Research business and its drivers**

**Engage with all stakeholders for Citi Research projects to collect feedback, build-out requirements and prioritize system enhancements**

**Work with developers and vendors to translate requirements into technical specifications**

**Vet and approve Business Requirements Documentation from the Technology department for changes in the research departments products, processes, and systems**

**Ensure enhancements meet requirements, coordinate UAT and manage its delivery to the business, including communications and training documentation**

**Devise creative solutions when faced with budget and/or time constraints**

**Work tactically to break through bottlenecks and keep projects on track**

**Develop and implement best-practices that seek efficiency in program execution**

**Develop regular reporting and MIS to facilitate review and engagement around project status, risks and path to green"**

**Manage direct or indirect project staff**

**Create board and executive level dashboards and presentation materials**

**Work in close partnership with control functions such as Technology, Compliance Chief Administrative Office and Product in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure**

**Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics**

**Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firms reputation.**

**Be familiar with and adhere to Citis Code of Conduct, Privacy, Information Security and Cross Border Data Clearance Policies in addition to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you**

**Bachelors/University degree**

**Masters degree preferred**
