Citis Compliance Technology & Data team is looking for an experienced, motivated and self-driven business analyst to join our team.


Our team is responsible for enabling compliance technology solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience, enhanced data quality, and simple solutions. We are the intermediaries between the systems end-users and the technology development team, playing a critical role in helping to understand business requirements and translating them into simple, feasible solutions.


We are a fast-growing team, and you will be joining at the start of Compliances Transformation to establish a culture of innovation and design thinking. You will also get exposure to Agile methodology, gain in-depth knowledge of Citis systems and compliance frameworks, and have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders and compliance SMEs to design and implement new and/or enhanced system solutions.


The ideal candidate to join our team will have business analyst experience in financial services or consulting; prior experience working in a compliance or risk-related function is desirable, but not required. To be successful in this role, curiosity is a must! We are passionate about exploring systems, questioning requirements and data, and bringing the team together to drive the best solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**


+ Work with cross functional teams to design and build best-in-class systems and tools architecture that enable effective management of compliance risks and analytics-driven insights, leveraging agile to meet the transformation goals

+ Run workshops with business stakeholders to capture business processes and requirements

+ Analyze business processes and translate them into documented user stories / functional requirements

+ Give meaning to data by analyzing data sources and transforming it into meaningful information and insights

+ Prepare and review documentation for firm-wide use (including communications, training, user guides, etc)


**Qualifications:**


+ 5-7 years relevant experience in the financial industry or related technology or business analytics role for risk and control functions

+ Experience in technology implementations, including requirements management, business analysis and user acceptance testing.

+ Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of seniority

+ Comfortable working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time

+ Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project)

+ Experience with Agile, database or visualization tools a plus


**Education:**


+ Bachelors degree; Advanced degree a plus
