This role will be responsible for sales, service and technical support to our Veterinary customers and their associated teams in Manitoba & Saskatchewan. This position will give you the opportunity to work in close collaboration with the Elanco Companion Animal Business team within the Western district and across the country.

As a Companion Animal Health Sales Professional with Elanco, you will develop interdependency and preferred consultancy with Veterinarians, Animal Health Technicians, Veterinary Business Managers and Support Staff. You will develop a thorough understanding of these customers, how they operate, what drives them and what they value. You will act as a resource for the customer, using all available Elanco resources to meet customer needs and sourcing new resources as required. You will conduct in-clinic meetings, training sessions, seminars, dinner meetings and other value add services. You will be accountable for delivering sales results, implementing agreed strategies and plans, and maintaining and growing the Elanco product portfolio market share.

  • Be highly motivated with personal accountability, and a sound work ethic
  • Knowledge of PC package tools, including but not limited to: word-processing (Word), Spreadsheets (Excel) and Presentations (PowerPoint).
  • University Degree, Animal Health Technician Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years sales experience or animal health industry experience.
  • Valid driver operator license in the province where the role is located.
