Commercial Operations Process Excellence Leader, APAC

What you'll do

You will be responsible to drive the process excellence strategy for the APAC region encompassing all cross regional activities including Service, Quality, Training, team performance monitoring, trend analysis, project management and order management continuous improvement activities. Is responsible for managing stakeholders€™ expectation in the matrix organization and working horizontally to maintain alignment with global partners in USCAN and EMEA, China and India.

Reporting to the APAC Commercial Operation leader, this person as Process Excellence Leader will:

  • Lead all APAC Comm Ops wide operational activities including team performance monitoring, trend analysis and improvement activity.
  • Lead Project Management for APAC, with responsibility for end to end project delivery. Responsibility includes project assessing, scoping, resourcing within APAC team, reporting and implementing relevant operating mechanisms to monitor and track projects for APAC region to maximize transparency on project status and deliverables for global stakeholders.
  • Have a key responsibility to drive Order Management processes working with global partners in Comm Ops, Commercial, IT and GSC.
  • Be responsible for managing root cause analyze and implement necessary solution or improvement.

    The position is located at one of our offices in Singapore (Preferred), Tokyo or Seoul.

    Who you are

    • 5+ years of experience working in projects in areas of commercial, operations, supply chain within complex organizations.
    • Fluent (written and verbally) in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can quickly develop strong credibility with customers, sales, manager and peers.
    • Lean Six Sigma background.
    • Comprehensive project management skills and experiences. Strong organizational and time management skills. Capable of delivering updates in a consistent, timely and reliable manner, even if outcome is unfavorable.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in remote countries and multi-cultural environment.
    • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization.
    • Demonstrated external focus to put the customer (internal or external) first and understand the urgency.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment.
    • Problem solver: translate the challenges into action to find a solution.
    • Very reliable, attentive to detail and at the same time responsive and committed to deliver results on tight timelines.
    • Strong team player: share thoughts, questions and ideas with the team.
    • Strong appetite to learn, curious.
    • Take initiative, be autonomous and self-confident.
    • Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify, interpret and resolve unstructured problems. Understand how to translate data from various sources into information used to make business decisions.
    • High level of flexibility (some night calls with global teams).

      Desired Characteristics

      • Commercial, sales operations, or supply chain background.
      • Knowledge of Life Sciences industry.
      • Additional Foreign Language (Mandarin, Korean or Japanese).
      • Oracle experience.
      • €œChange Agent€ experience.
      • Willingness to travel as needed for the role (10%).
