_About the Role:_


The North America Commercial Cards Market Management Head plays a critical role in defining the strategy and financial planning for our business and is a member of the North America Executive Committee (Exco). The Market Management Head will lead a team driving strategy, leading deal management, and supporting innovative solutions for complex business and organizational issues. The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, build and leverage relationships across various lines of business, and find ways to manage, execute and deliver on key partnerships. This is an exciting role in a growth segment of Treasury and Trade Solutions and a senior role in the Cards Product Management Team, reporting to the North America Commercial Cards Region Head.


_Responsibilities include:_


+ Strategy development and market/industry optimization initiatives to maximize North America revenues while managing expenses. End-to-end P&L management, customer pricing, and key deal management priorities.

+ Devise and launch profitability strategies, to meet sales goals & revenue needs of corporate & public sector clients.

+ Coordinate and collaborate with Relationship Managers and Solution Sales consultants, including deal solutioning, pricing/revenue strategies, and launch of tailored growth initiatives.

+ Senior product representation and engagement in complex TTS deals requiring coordination across Operations, Technology, and Product. Senior ownership of contract negotiation for complex Commercial Cards deals with Legal teams.

+ Ownership of NA pricing model and NA deal review processes, management of annual revenue & growth planning activities that deliver or exceed annual targets.

+ Oversee partner engagement with key partners and cards networks, including structuring of innovative strategies to advance overall goals, negotiating agreements & management of senior relationships. Collaborate with partners to determine go-to-market strategies. Participate in Senior Business reviews and manage deal/customer needs with networks.

+ Lead, coach and develop a team of four professionals, inspiring them to achieve stellar results.


This is an exciting role in the rapidly expanding field of Payments. This Director-level opportunity will provide exposure to key areas of Treasury and Trade Solutions and TTS senior management. The successful candidate for this team-lead role will be a self-starter and a team player, able to work independently, set directions, and drive initiatives by working closely with regional Product teams, Product Sales and Account Management, and functional teams across the North America region.


_Qualifications:_


+ Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.

+ 10+ years of experience in the cards/payments industry or equivalent experience in related fields.

+ Knowledge and experience in commercial cards and/or payments highly preferred.

+ Self-starter and goal oriented.

+ Communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage at senior levels are critical to succeed in the role, particularly considering the level of cross-team and client/sales engagement involved, as well as senior management exposure.

+ Experience in data-driven business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development

+ The candidate should be able to work independently and in multi-dimensional teams equally effectively, be creative, and be a critical thinker.

+ Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve issues.

+ Highly organized and responsive.
