Collection Strategy Senior Analyst

We are searching for a person who will join Revolving Products and Collection Strategy Credit Policy Department in Retail Risk Division. The person employed in this role will be responsible for the collection strategy for all retail credit products which includes:

+ Developing, testing, optimizing and implementing collection strategy for all retail products offered by the Bank (both secured and unsecured),

+ Ensuring oversight over efficiency of collection process and correctness of collection strategy execution,

+ Monitoring of Collection KPIs, ongoing monitoring of portfolio and operational results,

+ Identification and reporting to the management on emerging trends and key areas of risk-opportunity, as well as their adequate addressing,

+ Tracking and monitoring of macroeconomic environment to properly manage adverse risk to the portfolio,

+ Responsibility for delivering Cost of Credit results in line with financial plan assumptions,

+ Participation in financial forecasting efforts, conducting cost of credit analyses,

+ Oversight over the debt sale process,

+ Establishing cross-functional partnerships and networks in order to perform BAU oversight over collection processes and ensure proper set up and execution of collection strategy. On a daily basis, very close cooperation with Collection Department, Operations MIS and units within Retail Risk Division. Less frequently cooperation with Business Asset teams, Digital Team, Compliance Department, Legal Department, Finance Team and others,

+ Ensuring compliance of policies, procedures and processes with existing law, recommendations, Banks internal regulations and Citi best practices,

+ Having a direct exposure to BHW Senior Management and Board Members by participating in or leading on various forums like e.g. GCB Risk Commission, ROC Council, PQR meetings.

+ Having a direct exposure to Citi Regional Risk Office by performing required consultations.

+ Cooperation with internal and external control units as part of conducted audit activities.


+ At least 6 years of professional experience out of which minimum 4 in retail credit risk management or credit/collection operations area,

+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience,

+ Very good Polish and English (both written and spoken),

+ In-depth understanding of legal environment, very good knowledge of regulations impacting collection processes,

+ Process review and design experience, ability to coordinate complex implementations,

+ Strong analytical skills, ability to draw and presents conclusions and keep independent judgement,

+ Very good communication skills, ability to cooperate with different internal and external partners and maintain relationships,

+ Effective time and tasks management, ability to set priorities and follow up on cooperating parties,

+ Knowledge of measures and parameters used in the risk assessment process and collection processes management,

+ Knowledge of credit cycle and Cost of Credit components,

+ Knowledge of banking industry and collection practices used on the market, newest trends and threats.

+ Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
