Job Description

Come join Intel's IP architecture group as a Coherent Fabric Architecture Engineer. We are looking for someone with a solid computer architecture and multi-processor cache coherency background to join our server coherent fabric development team.

Responsibilities will be:

  • Determines, specifies and evaluates the viability of complex hardware features and structures and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly.

  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves sub-system and/or IP/SoC design weaknesses.

  • Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture and interface used across design and product families.

  • Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience¬†OR Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience.

  • Minimum 2+ years experience with Computer architecture and solid knowledge of multi-processor cache coherency and I/O architecture such as PCIe.

  • Minimum 2+ years experience with exposure to design.

  • Minimum 2+ years experience with validation and performance analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming skills.

  • Experience in formal validation activities.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
