Job title: Cloud Software Development Engineer

Data center technologies created in Intel's Research and Development Center in Poland are being applied in wide range of products that are used in virtually every computing center that exists in the world, as well as integrated into products and services offered by Intel's direct customers.

You'll:

• develop the BMC (Board Management Controller) software
• contribute to Open Source project, supported by world class developers from biggest companies (Google, IBM, DELL) all around the world
• contribute to architecture, external interfaces definition, and play independent role in source code development, review and maintenance
• add an extra value to the team by exploring technologies and solutions which could help the team to continuously improve their development process
• collaborate with teams spread across all geographies

You'll work on the most advanced embedded software and maintain best in class quality future server platforms / CPUs in the world.
Sometimes you'll break them, but that is OK, too.

You'll interact with teams across the globe, working on designs, tests, and features to enable the greatest value customers can get from Intel products. You'll become familiar with a wide array of technologies, from low-level programming, containers, up to data analytics. You'll also have a chance to work on open-source projects.
 

Qualifications

Important for us:

• Practical knowledge of C/C++
• Practical knowledge of computer system architecture, operating systems, device architecture and hardware design
• Good teamwork and cooperation skills (work in international environment)
• Willingness to learn and improve own skillset
• Good technical English skills

If additionally - you have:

• Basic knowledge about popular embedded interfaces e.g. RS-232, SPI, I2C etc
• Knowledge of various debugging techniques and tools: HW/SW, local/remote
• Experience with Linux user space and kernel space development
• Experience with Open Source projects
• Engineering and/or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or similar technical area
