**Job Description**

The Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for determining optimal staffing coverage through a territory management plan utilizing a flexible staffing ratio of full-time, per-diem and agency nurses to maximize productivity that is consistent with the management and organizational goals.

We're looking for a dynamic team player with great communication skills both written and verbal; as well as detail orientation and time management skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Identifies documentation issues that require the attention of a clinician or supervisor.

Manages master schedule for nurses working within their assigned territories and adds to weekly nurse visit schedule for existing patients.

Coordinates subcontracted nursing agency visit documentation receipt, and follows the agency billing policy.

Performs timely data entry and batching of nursing notes in to the computer system.

Submits POTs and nursing orders to the appropriate prescriber for signature, and tracks timely signature and return consistent with policy and procedure.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday Friday, 8:00AM 5:00PM, with an opportunity for over-time as needed

**Required Qualifications**

Minimum one year of medical billing, patient intake, home infusion, or related experience in coordinating activities, administrative support functions, and customer service

Proficiency with Microsoft business software.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Minimum one year of related experience in coordinating activities, administrative support functions, and customer service. Experience as a nursing assistant, pharmacy technician, home patient representative, or customer service representative preferred.

Effective verbal and written communications skills.

Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft business software.


Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
