As the RCS Clinical Application Specialist, you will support the installation base, new and existing, of Bellco dialysis machines in line with business strategies and objectives. You will be expected to conduct on-site education and / or consulting. The role includes support of field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by partnering with sales colleagues to develop and execute plans of sales and support of sales by participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness. You will work closely with the Market Development Specialist, Regional Commercial and Sales teams, Bellco product specialists, technical team distributor teams and customers to provide customer case and sales support. The person in the roles needs to identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with the Sales and Clinical Support Team. The role serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution related to the Bellco portfolio.


This role is an individual contributor with responsibility in the dialysis field, both acute, chronic and paediatric.


The position reports solidly to the RCS BU Lead for CEMA and dotted to the Bellco Clinical team in EMEA.


**A DAY IN THE LIFE**


We offer you a position where you will:


Perform as an individual contributor within the team with responsibility as a clinical specialsit within the dialysis (acute, chronic and paediatric) field.

Deliver and/or manage projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.

May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.

The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the support of the installed base of Bellco machines from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education within the dialysis field.

Identify business growth opportunities and unmet customer requirements and provide vision and focus to move ideas to market place.

Develop and implement successful business models for existing as well as well new products and therapies to ensure regional business growth targets are met.

Create regional vision, strategy and annual goals and objectives for the defined business/es in line with RMS CEMA/CEE vision and strategy.

Provide guidance and clinical input to maximize installations in new projects.

Develop annual support plans according to business objectives.

Develop clinical and technical support strategies to grow the defined business/es.

Establish, maintain and foster Key Customer relationships (Physicians, Key Opinion Leaders and Key Purchasing Officers) in partnership with the Medtronic country organizations. Additionally, organize and manage all customer contacts when visiting Headquarters and to direct activities of physicians review boards, multi-country symposia, area educational events.

Monitor performance versus objectives, monitor ongoing budget allocation/variances, identify and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Inventory management and consignment policies in partnership with finance, European Operating Committee (EOC) and local country management.

Provide clinical support for product launches that are implemented in line with marketing plan, strategies and tactics set at CEMA/CEE level.

Work with CEMA Leadership to provide input on forecast, inventory control, phase in/out plans, clinical evaluations etc.

Assure alignment in other functional areas such as research, clinical, development, education, reimbursement and sales.


**YOUR PROFILE**


**MUST HAVES**

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE**


BS/BA degree / diploma in biomedical engineering, medical technology or dialysis nursing

5+ years professional experience in Healthcare/ Medical Devices/ Pharma

market.

5+ years of dialysis experience.

2+ years of training experience in a clinical environment related to dialysis.

Fluency in English and local language.

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
