Harborview Ambulatory Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinic Practice Manager for 1WC Clinics (After Care, Orthopedic Trauma, & Pain Relief Service).  This individual will develop and oversee departmental cost centers to assure alliance with and adherence to the organizations mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business strategies. Emphasizing service excellence, patient safety, employee engagement and organizational integration, you will lead the department in overall program development and service priorities. 

As the HMC 1WC Clinic Practice Manager, you will be accountable for all UW Medicine Patients Are First goals by working to achieve their Leader Accountability Management metrics.  Overall effectiveness is exhibited by:
                               
  • Effective managing, developing, and evaluating the competence and engagement of assigned workforce.
  • Effective operational problem solving and communication at all levels.
  • Effective interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration and service coordination.
  • Effective evaluation of departmental practices, policies, and continuous process improvement.
  • Effective planning and evaluation of space, resources, numbers and skills of staff to fulfill mission.

  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to service area with at least 2-3 years of experience in clinical service area(s).
  • Masters degree relevant to service area preferred.
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, and program management skills related to the defined tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • For managers of clinical areas, if required, is registered, certified, and/or licensed to practice in the state of WA.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
