**Description:**
**Swedish Medical Center is calling a Clinic Administrator Swedish Weight Loss Services (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Bariatric Surgery and Non-Surgical Weight Loss Services at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.** **This position will also support Endocrinology at First Hill.**
**SCHEDULE:** Monday-Friday; 8a-5p PST. There are occasionally early morning and early evening meetings (on average 1-2 meetings per week) that may flex beyond the basic hours of operation. **REMOTE FLEXIBILITY** to occur after 90 days of employment. Up to 1 day a week will be able to be worked remotely, while the other 4 will be worked on site.
The Clinic Administrator Swedish Weight Loss Services will work in concert with the Administrative Director and Physician Director in overseeing administrative, financial, developmental, and strategic activities of Swedish Weight Loss Services (SWLS) and its affiliated entities. Responsible for day-to-day operation of SWLS, ensures clinic compliance with practice standards, regulatory requirements, and operating budgets, and assures adequate department coverage. Directs, manages, and mentors staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient care. Makes recommendations and implements programs to measure and improve customer service. Handles customer complaints. Works closely with the Program Coordinator and with institution-wide surgical standards to promote quality, patient-oriented care, manage products and equipment, and to identify and resolve operating issues.
**In this position you will:**
+ Manages the day-to-day operations of multiple clinics in Seattle and Issaquah including supervising staff, managing budgets, and developing and implementing clinic initiatives.
+ Works closely with the physician director, administrative director and program coordinator.
+ Develops and implements strategic plans for the practice.
+ Understands, supports and implements the mission of the clinic and Swedish to deliver health care to patients in the performance of all job responsibilities.
+ Ensures compliance with policies and procedures including the recording of community benefit services and costs.
+ Need to understand the nuances of working in a union environment with caregivers.
+ Work closely with hospital partners for procedure and surgical scheduling.
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Health Related field or business required.
+ 5 years Increasing responsibility in a hospital or ambulatory clinic setting. (Clinical setting preferred).
+ 3 years Supervisory or management experience.
+ Strong financial background.
+ Hands-on experience in medical services marketing and strategic planning.
+ Experience in practice development and expansion.
+ Experience in maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, payers, and other groups.
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
+ Master's Degree
