Job summary
The Recruiting Engine (RE) Team is reinventing how we recruit at Amazon.

Recruiting the right candidates across all of Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. As the search for talent becomes more competitive, we are bringing together recruiting, science, tech, programs, and process teams to find and hire candidates who raise the bar more quickly and efficiently.

Within Recruiting Engine, the Client Leads are the primary point of contact to Hiring Managers. They work with Hiring Managers to communicate the process and set program expectations. Client Leads are also responsible for posting and monitoring all role openings, and ensuring the correct prioritization of requisitions aligned to Hiring Manager strategy.

Core Responsibilities and Relationship Management:

  • Educate Hiring Managers on the Amazon tech recruiting process, Hiring Manager responsibilities, and best practices
  • Present hiring data in a simple format, and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide oversight of the interviewer pool and work with Hiring Managers if additional participation or course correction required.
  • Ensure consistency across a dedicated line of business, streamlining tech recruiting process from phone interview to onsite to offer
  • Utilize market data and trends to guide the business with opportunities that could address their needs faster
  • Report insights to the hiring managers on metrics, measurements, and status of performance indicators
  • Utilize analytics to anticipate roadblocks and problem solve the challenges.
  • Lead special projects/ recruiting initiatives
  • Requisition management
  • Manage the allocation, observe trends that could affect the ability to meet the demand, and create strategies to get back on track.
  • Monitor the vacancies, pipeline, allocation, funnel conversion, time to fill, diversity, and quality of hire.


This position can be based in Amazon€™s corporate offices in Amazon hub locations €“ Austin, Arlington, Nashville, San Diego, Santa Monica, and Vancouver (Canada).


Other USA Amazon corporate office locations will also be considered.




BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor€™s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 1+ years€™ recruiting or program management experience.
  • 1+ years€™ experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and client relationships.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational and program management skills.
  • Previous Client Management or Program Management experience is ideal.
  • Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team.
