Client Assets Senior Manager - SVP

The Client Assets Senior Manager is accountable for management and oversight of Client Assets functions within the Operations Regulatory Control Team, leading and directing a team based in multiple locations. The individual requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within Client Assets in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The individual is accountable for supporting multiple businesses and operational areas.


+ Perform governance and oversight of Client Asset functions including but not limited to Client Money calculations, CMAR/MCAR, break monitoring, risk monitoring, quality assurance reviews and change management

+ Manage an expanding team across 3 locations including budget, allocation of resources, performance reviews and development

+ Partner with O&T teams to proactively identify and measure Client Assets risks, ensuring issues and near misses are adequately recorded, risk is mitigated and evidenced via corrective action plans and tracked to closure

+ Partner with and work in conjunction with CA&DPO to ensure that Client Assets issues and concerns are managed timely and emerging risks are mitigated

+ Escalate incidents where there is under-performance against agreed policies, standards and guidance by any teams

+ Direct and Assist in the performance of Client Assets process reviews by Quality Assurance Team for areas identified as concern / risk

+ Assist with the effective implementation of new Client Asset policies, standards, procedures and practices by working with relevant Operational teams to ensure awareness and front to back operational process is agreed and in place

+ Lead / Participate as a stakeholder for Client Assets change projects where appropriate, escalating concerns or issues and ensuring with successful delivery of program and Client Assets compliance

+ Chair and facilitate Client Asset governance review meetings for relevant processes and report into senior Governance committees and forums

+ Provide documentation for relevant Client Assets committees and governance forums

+ Assist in identifying of O&T Client Assets training requirements. Lead / facilitate training sessions and where appropriate provide relevant training with the aim of embedding CASS expertise and knowledge within O&T via train the trainer model.

+ Liaise with and partner with relevant functions/business providing relevant information on CA matters and act as point of escalation for O&T matters

+ Provide O&T oversight management of the Compliance Reviews Internal and External Audits

+ Governance and oversight over Client Assets functions and processes

+ including but not limited to Client Money calculations, CMAR/MCAR, break monitoring


+ Relevant industry experience

+ Significant experience in Client Assets a must. Other risk and control disciplines would be a plus.

+ Excellent communication skills verbal & written


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
