Citi Investment Research is searching for a Senior Associate to be part of a team covering companies in the Power and Renewables sector. The Sr. Associate is responsible for supporting the Senior Analyst in the sector by building financial models, writing research reports, communicating recommendations and ideas to clients and partnering with Salesforce. Over time, the Associate may have the opportunity to pick up coverage of stocks individually.


We're looking for someone who is a self-starter with ambition to progress his/her career within equity research.


This individual is expected to:

  • Conduct analysis 
  • Make Investment Recommendations 
  • Interact with Institutional Clients
  • Arrange company visits and regular management contact for investing clients and due diligence purposes 
  • Attend industry conferences and speak to industry contacts 
  • Track company events and earnings 
  • Develop financial models and valuation techniques 
  • Establish yourself as an expert 


Qualifications


  • The ideal candidate would have a minimum of a BA/BS with a strong academic record; An MBA and/or CFA is a plus
  • 1+ year(s) in buy or sell side research, investment banking, public accounting, consulting or other relevant experiences is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and will possess strong technical, organization, interpersonal and written skills.
  • Must be pro-active with a can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency with both Word and Excel is required.
  • Securities licensing a plus (Series 7/63 and 86/87).
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
