Chief of Staff - Internal Audit - ICG

The Internal Audit (IA) Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Chief of Staff will report directly to the ICG Citi Chief Auditor.

The IA ICG Chief of Staff will be responsible for supporting the ICG Citi Chief Auditor in managing the IA ICG Organization, and ensuring alignment and consistency on all critical initiatives for the team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Project Management of ICG Deliverables** - Manage tasks and responsibilities associated with the planning, directing, coordination and support of day-to-day on behalf of the ICG Citi Chief Auditor.

+ **Resourcing** - Responsible for resource management, including resource scheduling, efficiency analysis and reporting.

+ **Efficiency** - Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency through process improvements and resource alignment and utilization.

+ **Strategic Initiatives** - Participate in development of key strategic and control initiatives, coordinating consistent horizontal responses where needed and lead communication strategy for the ICG Citi Chief Auditor.

+ **Governance Reporting** - Responsible for the production and submission of IA ICG Business Risk, Compliance and Control Committee (BRCC) and input and assessment as part of Risk Governance Framework (RGF).

+ **Issues Management** - Identify and drive resolution of issues; maintain a disciplined follow up and tracking approach for any open items.

+ **Cost Oversight** - Co-ordinate with other IA team such as Finance and Operations on cost/budget tracking, Organization Design (OD) and co-source management.

+ **Organization Design** - Oversee the fulfilment of the ICG OD and facilitates the recruitment of staff and development of talent across teams and geographies within the ICG IA team.

+ Co-ordinate the ICG engagement and actions as part of Voice of Employees (VOE) commitments.

+ Facilitate the sharing of best practices and insights across the ICG teams and proactive engagement as part of IA Strategic initiatives.

+ Serve as trusted advisor to the ICG Citi Chief Auditor. Share what is working well and what is not working well; play an active role in defining key priorities, take risks with new ideas and developing their full resolution.

+ Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders across IA at all levels, ICG businesses and locations, providing a broad understanding of the organization while building relationships throughout Citi.


+ Specific subject matter expertise regarding business management disciplines and a strong business understanding of the products and services Citi offers.

+ Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.

+ Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency.

+ Strong written/verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.

+ Comfortable navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations.

+ Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.

+ Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers.

+ Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and to facilitate the overall growth of the franchise.

+ Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels within the organization including senior management, including effective influencing skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests.

+ Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.
