CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
Position Summary:
The Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and case management for clients with substance abuse disorders in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine guidelines, MultiCares policies/standards, and local/state/federal regulatory requirements. The CDP assists with the planning and coordination of associated counseling and educational programming services within an outpatient and/or inpatient setting, or in the community; implements and delivers prescribed services; coordinates on-going follow-up care services which include therapy, group and individual counseling; monitors and documents progress in treatment; makes referrals to voluntary treatment when indicated and assists in training new peers and provides oversight and professional guidance in all clinical areas.

Minimum Requirements:
One (1) year of recent work experience as a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP)
Successful candidates must have no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment as a CDP and no evidence of alcohol or drug misuse while employed as a CDP

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Current WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certification
Bachelors degree in related field preferred
A valid Washington State drivers license and reliable transportation may be required

CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY PROFESSIONAL TRAINEE SUMMARY:
>Position Summary:
Under the clinical supervision of the Program Manager and in accordance with program policy, goals, and purposes, the Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee serves as a trainee assisting with the planning and coordination of counseling and educational programming services, actual implementation and delivery of prescribed services as assigned. Developing and implementing an Individual Program Plan for each assigned client in accordance with program policy. The Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee is responsible for ensuring that each client receives maximum benefits from treatment. The Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee is responsible for providing high-quality services in all facets of an outpatient treatment environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professionals Trainee (SUDPT) Certification
Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

We will hire either a CDP or a CDPT.

Salary Range for CDP $22.02 - $26.85;
Salary Range for CDPT $15.70 - $19.15
