DESCRIPTION

Job summary
While the preference is for this location to be based out of Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, or Houston, TX, we are open to other AWS locations.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world€™s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers€”including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies€”are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster. To meet the growing demand for AWS Services across the globe, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. If you have excellent organizational and communication skills, a passion for working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and a desire to provide exceptional customer service, we would like to speak with you!

Here is your chance to join the Training & Certification team working in the highly visible role of Principal, AWS T&C Change Management (CM). In this role, you will develop and scale the CM framework that will enable execution excellence for worldwide standardization and process improvement initiatives within Global Delivery Operations (GDO). In this position, you will work with leaders in the organization (and within the regions) to drive compliance for the CM process and establish the operational rigor required to manage change effectively. This will include assessing the impact of each process change and engaging with the relevant stakeholder groups. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the CM process with accountability for process strategy and execution.

You will be successful in this role if:
· You have experience developing and driving adoption for newly established processes.
· You are familiar with change management and communications methodologies and have a track record of managing complex change for cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
· You understand the trade-offs required for optimal decision making and can roll up your sleeves to break down a complex process into bite sizes but also intermittently take a bird€™s eye view on the overall roadmap to ensure you steer the project team and leadership in the right direction.
· You excel at communicating to different audience types (executive leadership, peers and individuals outside of your reporting structure).
· You excel at identifying risks, anticipating points of resistance and developing specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
