This position requires experienced drivers with a Class A Commercial Drivers License. The driver must maintain his/her license in good standing and must be insurable according to company policy and the insurance carrier's requirements. In limited circumstances, we will consider those willing and qualified to obtain a CDL within a short time frame. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

This position is responsible for driving an assigned vehicle to the work site, Once on site, the driver becomes a field installer, performing assigned installation tasks. The individual must meet the requirements necessary to maintain his/her commercial drivers license (CDL), and must maintain a driving record acceptable for our insurance carrier.. This position is responsible for preparing and delivering written reports- including, but not limited to, pre-trip and post-trip inspections and drivers logs and must maintain the assigned vehicle, tools and equipment in good working condition. The chosen candidate must be able to perform assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.  Lifting up to 100# is required. The position is required to operate PTO driven hydraulic equipment, must be able to read and follow GPS coordinates and/or a map, and correctly and safely use hand and power tools.


Class A Texas Commercial Driver License with Trailer and Tanker Endorsement is required, along with a current Medical Examiners Certificate.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The employee must have the ability to demonstrate reasonable driving skills normally associated with the operation of truck/trailer combinations in both on and off road driving conditions. The employee should exhibit a general understanding of the equipment required to install cathodic protection systems.  The employee must be able to perform labor intensive physical activities for long hours in all weather conditions. 



This position will be required to travel, with trips lasting between 1 and 3 weeks,


Physical Demands

Solid verbal communication skills will be required to coordinate tasks between co-workers.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arm and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.  Job requirements could include driving long distances, working outside in all weather conditions, operating equipment, climbing over fences and gates, opening gates, as well as walking and standing for extended periods of time.
