**Job Description Summary**


Monitor and assist with management of key liquidity metrics for the US Bank, including regulatory and internal liquidity stress metrics, concentration metrics and balance sheet ratios. Collaborate as necessary with Business Treasury, Finance, and the partners in Citi Treasury around the globe to understand changes and their impact on the key metrics. Assist in devising efforts to drive change and optimize existing processes, as well as in the preparation and or review of materials for senior managers, including the CBNA ALCO and the FLRC committees. Contribute to forecasting the liquidity surplus of the US Bank under Operating Plan, CCAR and Outlook Scenarios to help determine appropriate levels of 3rd party debt.


**Scope of Responsibilities**


The CBNA Treasury Lead Analyst will require a broad understanding of banking activities and the impact of those activities upon CBNAs balance sheet. Particular emphasis will be placed upon liquidity management of US Bank, a component of CBNA.


Demonstrated analytical capabilities must highlight the candidates ability to diagnose issues and identify opportunities within a dynamic environment. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work with other areas of Treasury, Controllers, FP&A and FRSS.


Primary responsibilities include:


+ Assist with management of US Bank liquidity position to ensure legal entity remains above regulatory limits and internal triggers for all relevant liquidity metrics and in all relevant tenor buckets.

+ Assist providing daily, weekly and monthly information on US Bank liquidity drivers to other stakeholders including second line and senior management.

+ Provide analytical support to help explain changes to liquidity position, drivers on liquidity forecast and its variance to Plan, etc.

+ Work closely with FRSS and GLM to better understand reported changes to US Bank liquidity metrics.

+ Work with Treasury counterparties in Asia, Europe and LATAM to optimize liquidity within the firm.

+ Contribute to forecasting the liquidity surplus of the US Bank under Operating Plan, CCAR and Outlook Scenarios to help determine appropriate levels of 3rd party debt.

+ Produce annual US Bank Funding and Liquidity Plan to ensure US Bank CLE and MLE remain appropriately funded throughout the year. Ensure document is approved by GLM, Independent Risk and FLRC.

+ Provide monthly updates on US Bank liquidity to CBNA ALCO.


**Qualification/Skills**


The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical and problem-solving capacity within an unstructured and dynamic environment that allows for the identification of financial levers for business success.


Qualifications are to include:


+ Minimum 5 years experience in a Treasury, Finance or relevant Business role

+ BA/BS in relevant analytical discipline

+ MBA with Finance concentration or equivalent preferred

+ Familiarity with liquidity and balance sheet management

+ Familiarity with recent bank regulatory developments including LCR, NSFR, Basel capital requirements and Regulation W

+ Collaborative orientation along with desire to interact with colleagues at all levels

+ Leadership orientation

+ Demonstrated ability to concisely communicate analytical objectives, observations and relevance of findings across the organization in written, visual (graphical) and verbal form

+ Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Citibank, NA (CBNA) Treasury leads asset/liability management, balance sheet planning, and liquidity/capital optimization for total bank and U.S. Bank component of CBNA. This team serves as the principal point of contact into Treasury for funding needs, ensuring that balance sheet priorities are integrated into business decision-making processes. Additionally, this function works with partnership with other areas of Citi including FP&A, Controllers, Capital Management and FRSS.
