The Citi Equities Technology Production Management team are responsible for supporting the applications and processes used by global Equity Trading business groups, and to facilitate the needs of the end-users with respect to those platforms.
CITI is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Cash Equities Support Lead, within our global support team located in NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the support of Citis NAM Cash Equities suite of applications and their production environment. The role includes line management responsibilities for the Cash Equities Support team; the successful candidate will be also responsible for the overall support service quality provided to the equities execution platform; covering both low touch and high touch flows. Facing off to the desk heads and development heads.  The successful candidate will also be expected to work with our development and technical support teams to implement efficiencies such as automation of manual activities and reduce operational risk.   The role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing business area; Delta 1 & Derivatives are central to Citis Equities expansion plans. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage application support for Cash Equities business on the CITI trading floor in New York.
  • Own the Stability Book of work for the Equities Execution application stack
  • Own the relationship with the Trading Desks heads with regards to the Equities Cash production environment. 
  • To monitor and maintain platform stability during all business hours.
  • To develop, maintain and enhance monitoring solutions
  • Manage the relationship with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base to ensure that knowledge transfer takes place within the team


Required Skills/Background:
  • Background of hands-on front office application support
  • Background in Order Management Systems, Low Touch Trading and Client Connectivity
  • Background of technical skills such as UNIX, SQL or scripting 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure

  • Ability to communicate well at all levels

  • Ability to learn new skills quickly with little supervision
Application Support Experience:
  • 5+ years experience working in a front-office support environment.
  • Understanding of problem management methodologies
  • Knowledge/experience of problem management tools
  • Experience using call/ticketing software


  • 2 years previous experience managing teams
Problem / Incident Management
  • Experience managing major incidents in production environment
  • Experience using ticketing software for problem and incident management
Additional  Skills (preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
  • Experience using/troubleshooting Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Basic understanding of hardware setup and configuration
Business Knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronic markets trading business
Equities Technology
  • Hands experience of Equities Electronic Execution technology
