What will you do?

  • Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders for lab assets and service
  • Communicate with end user, facilities, shipping company and warehouse to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of assets
  • Coordinate information and communications for designated projects at the site level and with the third-party lab including identification and escalation of discrepancies. .
  • Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Liaise with other departments and support services in order to expedite the asset disposition/acquisition process
  • Ability to recognize, utilize and/ or combine/consolidate shipping data when necessary to retrieve or report appropriate information and collaborate with data management as required
  • Adhere to established client SLAs
  • Coordinator will conduct intake meetings with End User and Facilities to arrange for requirements of equipment (space, house systems, consumables, etc) once Capex Equipment orders are placed.
  • Coordinator will enter work orders in customers system depending on needs identified before arrival of equipment
  • Coordinator will track all aspects of the delivery process and will provide metrics on the following:
    • Intake Meetings on time
    • Facilities Requests on time %
    • On time delivery %
    • No-issue deliveries %
    • Tracking for the following will also be recorded:
      • Order to Delivery to install time
      • Request to Completion time
      • VMI / LAMM Program additions

  • onsite asset services:
    • Coordinate vendor visits, including installations
    • Investigate if onsite engineering resources can perform services
    • Coordination with facilities (IT, gas, electric etc.)
    • Coordinate lab moves including furniture
      • Assist with the lab layout and fulfillment of instrumentation moves and installations
    • Tag assets and provide data to finance
    • Escort vendors
    • Ensure EH&S sign-offs prior to asset exiting the site

How will you get here?
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Experience in customer service or logistics management preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Good organizational and operational skills
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
  • Computer proficiency in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (strong proficiency with Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment highly desirable
  • Ability to work with limited support
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • 1-3 years of inventory asset experience
  • Demonstrated ability of critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities; utilize resources effectively.
  • Must be able to comply with all applicable standards as required by the company


  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Multi location position. Up to 50% Travel may be required, depending on demand and delivery location.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Operation of pallet jack will be required
