CAD Engineer

Job Description
Develops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develops routines and utility programs. Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval. May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

Qualifications

B.Tech MS degree in Computer Science Electronics Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related disciplines with 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experienceMinimum Requirements:Experience with logic RTL design using Verilog SystemVerilog Experience with ASIC verification tools such as VCS logic simulatorExperience across all Front End domains Simulation formal property verification validationEmulation Knowledge of Linux Unix and Windows based SW development environments toolsExperience with Perl Python Shell scriptingAbility to communicate effectively with various technical groups and to coordinate activities amongst those groupsAdded advantages: Experience in OVMUVM and other object oriented verification methodologiesAdditional soft skills required:Ability to act as ambassador for new technologies and actively engage with global cross site teamsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently prioritize manage risks evaluate tradeoffs make quick decisions and communicate project statusInterfacing with multiple customers understanding their requirements setting expectations and delivering on commitmentsAnalytical problem solving team oriented and ability to work in a collaborative environment
