Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing.
  • Capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of the software tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.                                               


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ months experience in the following:

  • RTL design processes and tools, including simulation, static and formal tools, like Synopsys VCS, Design Compiler, SpyGlass, VC, Cadence Conformal
  • Scripting knowledge e.g. Python, Perl, TCL
  • Revision control systems, e.g. Git
  • Unix environment, including Make files


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in (System)Verilog, OVM/UVM
  • Good communication skills with design, validation and other technical teams
  • Work under tight time constraints and be able to prioritize accordingly
  • Familiar with program management methods and tools, e.g. Jira

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
