Business Process Optimization Expert (Lean)

CitiLean and Smart Automation organization role is to partner (Key Enabler) with senior Leaders across business, O&T and global functions to drive business and process transformation to deliver on the organizations financial and non-financial goals. The team operates as a global team spread across Asia, Europe and NAM and consists of senior strategic process engineers, data analyst, lean/six sigma process engineers and smart automation developers. The team comprises of ex strategic and business consultants, seasoned financial services transformation/change management practitioners and strong experience lean/Six-Sigma engineers in financial services, manufacturing and services. As a key member of the team you will have opportunity to support and lead programs under the guidance of more experienced colleagues whist learning strong technical and strategic skills.

**Job Skills/Qualifications:**

**Problem Solving**

Clearly defines hypotheses, problem, lays out approach and can structure analysis clearly/efficiently Interprets analysis to derive insights Demonstrates ability to translate analysis into slides/storyline Can drive structure approach to problem solving using a lean/six-sigma mind set and proper tools Effectively deploys primary data collection tools such as surveys, structured interviews and Voice of Customer techniques Can lead small to medium size workshops (in root cause analysis and solution generation)

**Project & Change Management**

Independently leads work streams or small to midsized project and develops and maintains project charters and plans Develops reporting and tracking mechanisms to capture productivity benefits achieved as well as risks to effectively manage projects

**Stakeholder Influence and Management**

Builds personal rapport with junior and mid-level executives in the context of a case Can independently conduct meetings/interviews with junior/mid-level executives

**Financial Acumen**

Good understanding of basic accounting concepts (ability to read P&Ls, balance sheets and supporting data) Able to conduct basic financial analysis: EBIT, efficiency ratio, RoA, RoI etc

**Computer Skills**

Demonstrates comfort in the use of MS Office to organize, analyze and present data and flows in the most efficient manner to generate insights


+ Minimum of 4-5 years total work experience (ideally with deep experience in financial services or services)

+ Experience in Operational Excellence/Process Improvement/Transformation projects

+ Lean or Six-Sigma experience including use of relevant tools would be an advantage but is not a must

+ Previous experience leading or developing automation solutions for Operations and Services (and particularly with Robotics) will be highly valued

+ An undergraduate degree, PMP or Prince certification is desirable but is not required

**Educational Level:**

+ Bachelor's degree
