(Currently all Rotary WHQ employees are working remotely but will return to office on a hybrid model - must be willing to relocate to or currently live in Chicagoland area.)

Overview


This position supports the BPM team, responsible for supporting strategic performance improvement initiatives at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity to act as a change agent liaison that spreads the mindset of continuous improvement and innovation. Your contribution will serve to help Rotary International have global impact around the world.


 


You Will Have



  • Bachelor's degree with experience with a minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in Process Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Transformation business analysis, consulting and/or change management roles

  • Demonstrated ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools and synthesize findings to develop solution

  • Creative thinker with strategic mindset

  • Black Belt Six Sigma certification preferred but not required

  • MBA preferred but not required

  • Experience in creating dashboards a plus



You Are Good At



  • Demonstrate ownership in managing partnerships with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to connect the dots with limited and/or ambiguous information.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Highly skilled with Visio, Minitab, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project

  • Proven track record and experience in driving medium to large sized projects with strong results

  • Develop effective presentations & project update materials suitable for senior stakeholders & business partners regarding overall project progress and recommendations/decisions



You Will Be Responsible For



  • Partner and engage with Participant Experience Team, key stakeholders, and member participants to identify process improvement opportunities across Rotary International

  • Identify/Implement manual process improvement opportunities that can be automated to achieve process optimization, simplification, reduction in defects, enhanced participant member experience and potential cost savings

  • Execute process improvement analysis by conducting deep dives to identify and map process, conduct root cause analysis, formulate actionable recommendations, design solutions and training to quantify operational benefits

  • Build dashboards and analyze metrics to identify and size problems across organizational landscape

  • Drive creation of end state/future state process vision in partnership with cross-functional teams

  • Develops rigorous process control plans, working closely with process owners, project sponsors and senior management to ensure improvement gains are sustained on a long-term basis
