Job Description


HII-Technical Solutions Division is seeking a motivated Ops Trainer at Aviano Air Base to join our team of dedicated professionals with the 56th Rescue Squadron in an exciting, fast-paced, successful company.




Essential Job Responsibilities



Evaluate grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI 11-202V1 and AFI11-2MDS-V1), associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance. Number of records will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput. Administer classes as required. Coordinate with squadron to ensure crewmembers are assigned for Crew Resource Management, Instructor Crew Resource Management, Instrument Refresher Course, and any other grounding. Number of classes will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput. Update training boards daily to reflect the effectiveness of previous days flights, training events, academic events and any other training requirements as required. Perform periodic gradebook checks of personnel training and ancillary training requirements. Prepare and execute periodic training for approval. Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent) as well as weekly summaries for the Operations Officer. Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training. Report all MAJCOM training requirements in accordance with MAJCOM and local guidance. Assist in maintaining unit first fly and incentive/familiarization flight checklists IAW evolving AFIs and Local Supplements. Assist the Director of Operations with mid-year and end-of-year Readiness Reviews, as directed by AFI. Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS as required. Assist the Director of Operations in assuring gradebooks are kept standardized and up to date for any and all inspections. Ensure grade sheets are filed in a timely manner and signed off by the appropriate personnel. In coordination with the squadron, determine flight, ground, and simulator requirements for upgrade, initial qualification, requalification, transition, currency, and continuation training based on syllabus requirements. Perform daily updates of training/exercise program to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates.





Minimum Qualifications




+ 0 years experience with a Bachelors Degree in related field OR a High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience


+ Intermediate-level proficiency in the use/application of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint)


+ Experience working in a squadron-level or higher commanders, directors, and/or support staff


+ Secret Security Clearance required.






Preferred Requirements





+ Experience working in a CAF Squadron/Group/Wing Office


+ Experience working with scheduling program


+ Intermediate-level proficiency in the use/application of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint)
