The AWS Worldwide Public Sector Sales Strategy and Operations team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced business planning leader to play a critical role in defining and building the International Sales Operations methodologies and practices. They will be responsible for working across cross-functional international teams to assess and standardize critical processes, drive business and systems requirements from internal customers, and operationalize key initiatives.

You will develop and drive projects, build the right analytics, and also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. In this role you will anticipate bottlenecks, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner with the right metrics and KPIs is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Work with international sales, operations teams, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives for the business
· Assess and improve key sales models and methodologies required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives.
· Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.
· Develop, implement and govern KPIs reporting for the portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across international initiatives
· Provide oversight and guidance to cross-functional project teams, planning and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders simultaneously to enable the launch of new projects and processes
· Support the strategic planning process, the annual, quarterly, and monthly rhythm of business by designing, creating, and providing in-depth business analytics
· Develop relationships and processes with sales, partner, finance, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues.
· Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.
· Up to 30% travel expected.


· At least 10+ years of experience in Strategy/Business Operations leadership positions
· 8+ years managing complex projects
· At least 2+ years of business writing skills
· BS/BA degree in business, finance or related field


· MBA or other relevant advanced degree
· Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
· Demonstrated competency in the areas of group collaboration, analytical thinking and business strategy
· Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
· Experience working within a high-growth, technology company ( computing, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) would be highly beneficial
· Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization and to turn ideas into concrete action plans
· Ability to develop strong, productive relationships across peer organizations that foster collaboration and best practice sharing.
· Focus on demonstrating business impact and measurable results.
· Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement programs, processes & policies
· Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
· Proven experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks
· Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented
· Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and problem-solving skills; able to articulate program recommendations, balance tradeoffs, drive consensus and gain support by utilizing excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
