The Data/Information Mgt Int Anlst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.


+ This function covers incumbents responsible for various data activities, which include database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture / design engineering

+ Responsible for routine operational or administrative work

+ Day-to-day actions are focused on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation

+ Individuals will have their work thoroughly reviewed and checked by more senior incumbents and will have limited contact outside their immediate area

+ Daily deliverable of routine and defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 2-5 years relevant experience

+ Ability to think strategically and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives

+ Know-how on analytic tools (SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS etc.)

+ Big data and machine learning experiences are (R, Python etc.)


+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

**Job brief**

We are looking for a Product Owner accountable for maximizing the value of our Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions by aligning the technological features, business strategy, design, development, controls and self-service workflows. Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, youll help us roll-out products that deliver strategic initiatives.


+ Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.

+ Team leader able to define epics, features and tasks with agile methodologies.

+ Analyzes business requirements and translates them into high level design.

+ Clearly articulates rationale for decisions from business to technical.

+ Design, develop, and deliver ad-hoc dashboards using BI tools.

+ Define quality criteria for data presentation in BI platforms.

+ Work with business teams of BI and Data professionals across the organization.

+ Collaborates within the technical teams such as Data Architects, Data Modelers, ETL Developers, BI Developers, Project Managers, and Platform Architects.

+ Define self-service flows and strategies to improve the BI platform adoption.

+ Create and support the BI documentation.

+ Lead meetings and working sessions to solve issues, challenges and risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view.

+ Facilitates meetings with decision makers, technology owners, vendors, and end users to define goals and requirements.

+ Coach or mentor direct team members and indirect team members.

+ Keep track of industry trends.


+ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems.

+ Desired: Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.

+ Familiarity with agile is a plus.

+ In-depth understanding of financial models, knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and how to apply the techniques to drive substantial business results.

+ Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.

+ Technical background with familiarity in relevant data technologies structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, data management, rapid/iterative development methodologies and data governance tools; preferrable having worked with Teradata, Cloudera stack and in enterprise BI tools such Tableau and Cognos.

+ Experience designing and supporting self-service development workflows.

+ Preferrable knowledge of consumer financial services, strong understanding of data governance, policies and regulatory reports.

+ Proven strong presentation skills, business and technical writing and verbal communication skills to support decision-making and actions.

+ Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data flows and designs.

+ Team spirit and strong communication abilities.

+ Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills.

+ English fluent.
