Title : Business Excellence Consultant

Summary :

Strong understanding of business processes across functional areas and business units and the ability to recommend process changes, procedure redesign, etc., as needed to support the business while assisting with quality and outsourcing efforts. Common objectives for process redesign across the business will be to maintain high quality, efficiency, customer-focused service delivery and compliance with corporate and government rules.

This position will also have a role in collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues representing various functional departments to achieve common objectives.

All the projects and initiative will contribute to the achievement of the Celergo / Streamline business unit as well as the Win as One corporate objectives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Lead and coordinate quality, efficiency projects and activities to ensure continuous best practices, and quality improvement
  • Analyse existing workflows and perform best practice benchmark gap analysis
  • Develop processes and procedures to effectively meet or exceed customer experience and expectations
  • Develop/ update process documentation, work instructions and other tools to support execution
  • Create workflow templates to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Provide recommendations to departments, work with respective teams on adoption and train teams as appropriate
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance experts to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on full life cycle process evaluation and improvements
  • Conduct on-going research and benchmark against industry best practices
  • Maintain relationships with other business units / functional areas
  • Organize cross functional groups across departments / business units to work collaboratively toward the effective and efficient pursuit of pre-determined goals
  • Prioritize projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones
  • Perform analytics to determine level of impact and use outcomes to prioritize projects
  • Comprehensively understand the entire process and client life cycle
  • Identify opportunities, design and implement improvements to the customer journey and client experience
  • Create and provide information and training on initiatives and changes so we create experts everywhere
  • Work across teams to continually eliminate unnecessary processes and continuously implement new ways to enhance client experience and company efficiency
  • Developing an integrated communications strategy for the required projects in the company
  • Implementing communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation
  • Collating and analysing current communications and messages and ensuring consistency
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with key business strategies
  • Responsibilities related to the CRM of the company:

- Work together with the global product owner of the CRM system of the company to define the structure and business unit processes ensuring it works seamlessly across the organization and captures all the required information during the life cycle of the client

- Act as the business unit SME (subject matter expert) of the CRM

- Work closely with all the departments to ensure the CRM works according to the company rules/structure defined and works effectively for all aspects of the company

- Collect and formalize and prioritize the requirements of the business unit in regards new functionalities/system needs and present them to the CRM product owner (Translates business needs into technical design)

- Participate in the periodical meetings with the other SMEs of the CRM to discuss globally new business requirements, optimization....

Job Requirements & Qualifications :

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification is a plus. NPS certification will also be a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience leading others in process analysis and redesign initiatives
  • Experience teaching and mentoring others and basic quality tools a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into measurable action and present projects to management for evaluation and prioritization
  • Ability to present complex processes in easy to understand terms to various cross functional stakeholders to receive approval and prioritization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, both large and small, with competing due dates and present status to management
  • Considerable skills in process improvement, business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem solving and team building
  • Ability to create detailed project plans and high level milestones across cross functional teams to ensure projects are on track
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and communicate to management any concerns regarding resources, timeline obstacles and prioritization
  • Experience working in a HR Outsourcing/PEO environment a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering operational business results in a service environment
  • Ability to work on project deliverables with minimal supervision and present status and results to management and senior leadership
  • Knowledge and understanding of data and production processes
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Understand the importance of data quality and data analytics

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to create presentations. Ability to create process flow diagrams in Visio or other software applications as needed
  • Must embrace change and have a proven track record of process redesign
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively meet customer needs, taking responsibility for customer satisfaction
  • Ability to create and comprehend reports and spreadsheets
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and professionalism when experiencing change in work tasks and/or the work environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and under pressure of deadlines
  • Problem solving oriented
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus.
