IBM is seeking a Business Development Executive - Cloud Sales is responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all assigned sales related activities within an assigned territory or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives. This role is focused on expanding multi-cloud strategies and services into associated industries within the market. Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets while providing high value customer solutions. The candidate will represent any Cloud portfolio, which include both public and private cloud offerings on IBM, Azure, AWS, Google. This manager position is expected to lead from the front in addition to having strong traditional management administration skills.

Additional Responsibilities include:
  • Leading subject matter experts (SME) from the Cloud Business to articulate the value of IBM offerings, align on opportunities, and ensure client cloud adoption vision is understood and their needs are addressed
  • Differentiate GBS Cloud solutions and our competitors

The successful candidate will work with our Cloud Services Sales teams, as well as integrated account teams and will be passionate about the use cases associated with the Microservices, Digital Transformation, Internet of Things, and the promise of leveraging Cognitive Intelligence to optimize business impacts. Proven track record in the sales of Cloud serives and a minimum 5 years sales experience at the C-Level.

Proven track record in the sales of Cloud services
