About the Position


The Business Analyst gathers and analyzes supply chain data for prospects and clients. The goal of the Business Analyst is to data mine accurately and communicate discoveries and areas of opportunity to the Analytics team and Director of Operations. Due to the growth of our company, this is a new position within the Analytics Department.



  • Collect and analyzing supply-chain data

  • Data mine and convey key insights & findings to team

  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions; make recommendations to product team

  • Constantly seek ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

  • Support sales team in customer service

  • Plan and conduct training sessions for employees and sales

  • Maintain timely project commitments in a team atmosphere

  • Effectively communicate complex data patterns internally and externally

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Business Management/Supply-Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Prior experience in Analytics or related area are strongly preferred

  • Detail-oriented with a strong disposition for accuracy

  • Strong critical thinking abilities as well as problem identification and solving skills

  • Prior experience within logistics environment preferred

  • Intermediate to advanced mathematical aptitude

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel

  • High level of communication and presentation skills

  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and autonomously

  • Ability to read and evaluate template legal agreements
