Description The Broker Relationship Manager develops and maintains relationships with small and medium-sized accounts. The Broker Relationship Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Responsibilities The Broker Relationship Manager focuses on personal sales targets and troubleshoots specific customer problems. Meets targets through cultivation of new client relationships and development of productive relationships with existing clients. Prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor. May participate in special projects/programs as assigned, such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the company. Maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets. Locates, evaluates, and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers, or retailers. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets. Begins to influence departments strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Territory to include the following counties: Sumter, Lake, Marion, Levy, Gilchrist, Dixie, Lafayette, Taylor, Madison, Jefferson, Leon, Wakulla, Franklin, Gulf, Calhoun, Liberty, Gadsden, Jackson, Bay, Washington, Holmes, Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia. Required Qualifications + High School Diploma + 3+ years of experience in the Medicare industry + Active Florida Health and Life Insurance Licenses + Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills + Ability to lead a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers. + High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently + Strong relationship building skills + Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel + Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences + This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits + Willingness to travel overnight 20-25% + Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or Cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance for Humana systems is 10Mx1M + Ability to provide a designated workspace; free from distractions with the ability to secure any protected information. Preferred Qualifications + Bilingual in English/Spanish with the ability to speak, read and write in both without limitations or assistance Additional Information + Upon offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) + Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency.
