The Clinical Trials Office (CTO) supports the clinical research mission of UW Medicine. The CTO is an operational unit within the SOMs Office of Research and Graduate Education charged with providing multi-service support to clinical researchers bringing important new therapies to our patients in compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

The department has an outstanding opportunity open for a Temporary Bilingual English/Spanish Research Interviewer.

JOB DUTIES:

Interviews will be conducted remotely with respondents
Interviews will take place between 10 am and 7 pm M-F and occasional weekends.
Complete training on REDCap interview platform and interview questionnaires.
Complete training on suicidality protocol and participant management.
Meet weekly quotas for completed interviews.
Attend weekly team meetings in-person or via zoom.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in a biological science, arts or health related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish. Excellent written and verbal communication, including patient interactions, consulting, and customer service skills. Proficiency with standard MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Strong internal and external customer service skills.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Previous interviewing experience Prior experience with people experiencing mental health issues and/or substance use issues.
