As a Travel Advisor within our Bespoke team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with members and vendors to curate fully customized trips from inception to execution.

Including, but not limited to: 

  • Travel Curation

    • Selling and catering to an affluent clientele for complex, fully customized trips.

    • Managing and leading a Discovery Call for a Bespoke trip request from a member.

    • Maintaining the relationship with members and vendors to and through trip execution, as well as handled with care and meticulous detail.

    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple trips with a high volume of output with an acute attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Maintain understanding and accurate billing payments, invoicing and margin implications for each trip.

  • Sales Focused

    • Understanding Sales techniques and methods to close business.

    • Be results driven to achieve the department sales goal of trip revenue.

    • Be able to deal with objections, rejection and maturely handle the highs and lows of selling luxury Bespoke trips.

    • Be responsible for their potential sales pipeline in Salesforce and reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics.

  • Communication

    • Provide personalized member service by building rapport, maintaining consistent and professional communication to ensure member satisfaction throughout the Bespoke trip process.

    • Articulate, educate, and sell the advantages and benefits of the Bespoke department.

    • Work with Care teams to answer questions and address trip-specific needs of members.

    • Work with vendors to ensure trip planning details are addressed.

    • Conflict resolution skills when dealing with member and vendor relationships.

    • Communicating, articulation and determining the desired trip costs and financial commitments by the member.

Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications:


To perform the job successfully, the following competencies would be advantageous: 

  • Travel Knowledge Understanding of geographical areas of the world, airlines, passport and visa regulations, and other details when it comes to luxury travel and the products available.

  • Project Management Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all components of each task are properly presented, managed and reported.

  • Problem Solving Ability to solve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and efficiently; and work well in group problem solving situations.

  • Communication Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing.

  • Adaptability Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.

  • Flexibility Things move fast and change quickly at Inspirato; being agile is a key to your success!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working successfully in a sales or similar role/business.

  • Experience working with tour operators, vendors, and external suppliers.

  • Luxury travel industry knowledge and background.

  • Experience in CRM systems such as Salesforce.

  • Understanding of basic budgeting principles is preferred.

  • Experience interacting with and serving affluent clientele in the travel industry

  • Excellent phone manner to communicate and build relationships internally and externally.

  • Flexible work and travel schedule, willing to work and travel over weekends or be available for any issues that arise with member travel.

  • Must be comfortable traveling alone and planning flights, hotels, and itineraries in a cost-effective manner.

Compensation - $55,000 - $70,000 Base Salary   

We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training, and experience related to scope of responsibilities.


Bonus  This position is eligible for the companys bonus plan, to the extent offered, at a target bonus percentage of up to 10% of your annual salary.


Equity - This position is eligible for the company's equity plan.


Benefits  This position is eligible for a health and welfare benefits package including medical, dental & vision insurance.


FAM Trip  This Position is eligible for the Employee Familiarization Travel Program following three (3) consecutive months of employment. This program provides you up to one seven (7) day reservation in an eligible Inspirato property per your employment calendar year subject to seasonal property demands and the company Employee Familiarization Travel Program Terms and Conditions.
