The Vice President, Business Management for the North America Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory (BCMA) team is a mid-level position that will be responsible for the overall activities of the business based out of Citis New York office. The Vice President, Business Management for North America BCMA may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business performance and productivity measures, client administration, strategic development, materials preparation and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.

More specific responsibilities related to supporting BCMA include, but are not limited to:

**Job Background:**

+ This Business Management VP will report into the BCMAs North America Co-Heads to:

+ Partner with BCMA North America Co-Heads in setting and implementing strategy

+ Present the business to both internal and external clients in a clear and concise manner

+ Focus on developing and delivering critical strategic client initiatives to senior management

+ Partner with other Citi Global Business and Product heads and relationship managers to continue to drive collaboration of our business with the rest of the Institutional Clients Group franchise

+ Determine how we position our client franchise for thought leadership opportunities

+ Liaise directly the broader Business Management function across the Institutional Clients Group to further BCMA initiatives

+ Prepare presentation materials for internal and external constituents

**Key Responsibilities Include,** **_but are not limited to_** **:**

+ Provide leadership and promote business ties with internal and external senior leaders/clients across key businesses, regions and support functions

+ Work with key constituents across ICG to align on client priorities

+ Lead and project manage key work streams

+ Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and ensure proper project governance

+ Create strategic and business presentation materials for both external and internal audiences

+ Help the franchise enhance global connectivity and share content across regions & products


+ 6-8 years experience in financial services or business management experience

+ Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify industry trends and provide strategic insight

+ Organized, self-starter who follows long term projects through to completion

+ Ability to take ownership and be proactive

+ Developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others, particularly senior management

+ Consistently develop and maintain effective work relationships

+ Proven ability to conduct research/analysis and organize findings

+ Advanced level of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills


+ Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.
