**Job Background**

Within Treasurys Balance Sheet Management (BSM) unit, the Balance Sheet Costing team leads refinements in the design of Citigroups Transfer Pricing, Liquidity Premium and other cost and resource attribution frameworks to incentivize optimal use of Citis financial resources. The aim of the process is to isolate the value generated by individual business activities thereby appropriately incentivizing optimization thereof to generate excess returns. The team has also been tasked with executing a multi-year project to centralize and standardize funds transfer pricing across the firm into a single system

The successful candidate will participate in the design, testing and rollout of a new centralized funds transfer pricing system, and lead specific implementation workstreams for multiple countries and businesses

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Participate in working groups with colleagues from Treasury, business, Risk, and Controllers to flesh out the funds transfer pricing methodology and key system requirements

+ Synthesize the system requirements and communicate them to the Technology team tasked with delivering the software

+ Participate in the development of the system testing strategy, taking into account feedback from Treasury, business, and technology partners

+ Lead certain system testing workstreams, partnering with user groups and technology to ensure error-free feature delivery

+ Provide training and guidance to the local teams that will be integrating the new system into the financial reporting, risk reporting, and business management processes

+ Work with the Treasury ALM team on transitioning the FTP processes to the new system, including fleshing out the rollout strategy and coordinating production of financial forecasts

+ Produce high quality, senior management materials to clearly and concisely communicate system design proposals and their benefits / shortcomings, as well as project status

**Experience & Qualifications**

+ 8+ years of experience working in the finance industry, including direct experience with Financial Planning and Financial Reporting processes

+ Minimum Bachelors degree in a quantitative-focused discipline from a top tier school; Masters or other relevant advanced qualification would be a plus

+ Extensive knowledge of financial instruments and products including an understanding of bank regulation, accounting, valuation techniques and risk measurement.

+ Expert in the use of Excel and PowerPoint

+ Strong problem solving skills with an ability to rapidly assimilate complex information across a variety of financial disciplines

+ Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to converse with a wide variety of people across functions / seniority

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business units / functions to deliver results

+ High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
