Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems located in Oklahoma City, OK has an opening for a B-2 Software Engineering Director, who will report to the Palmdale Aircraft Integration Center of Excellence (PAICoE) Vice President of Research, Technology, and Engineering and be assigned to the B-2 Enterprise Chief Engineer working with B-2 Engineering Directors, SEIT leads, and Program Managers.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to a diverse team of individuals with responsibilities of capturing new proposals, developing and delivering software for all the B-2 Enterprise Software domains both onboard and off board. All B-2 Enterprise Software IPT leads will report to this position.

Essential Functions:

Work collaboratively and with influence to gain commitment and performance from all organizations including the B-2 System Program Office and Program customers, Business Operations and Contracts, System Design, Integration and Test as needed to drive required business outcomes.

Shape the future business and develop strategies that strive to bring the best value to the program.

Ensures contracts are properly scoped to authorize and conduct all B-2 Enterprise Software responsibilities with maximum efficiency.

Responsible for earned value (cost, schedule, technical performance) of all B-2 Software components delivered under all B-2 contracts

Provide leadership and management of Software Integrated Product Team (IPTs) to ensure horizontal technical integration across all B-2 Enterprise Software IPTs.

Responsible for supporting Software IPT Leads to execute their program SOWs within program budgets, maintain appropriate performance assessment and control, establish milestones and monitor consistency to master schedule, ensure on-schedule delivery of products to contract requirements and quality standards, utilize risk management to identify program problems and develop solutions.

Responsible for supporting B-2 Enterprise proposals, assisting the negotiation of work content with the customer and building performance baseline plans.

Collaborate with the Software Community of Practice for process improvements to include metrics collection and data analysis.

Responsible for ensuring staffing needs are well defined and coordinated with the Palmdale Aircraft Integration and Autonomous Systems Center of Excellence Software Directorates.

Develop and maintain roadmaps for B-2 Enterprise software development, leads preparation of, and approves software technical and cost inputs for all new B-2 Enterprise proposals and ECPs to achieve program goals.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)

Minimum of 12 years of experience in industry software development applications

Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle

Software Project Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead experience in industry applications including Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

Experience in the Agile process and Atlassian Tool Suite or equivalent

Active DoD Secret with a background investigation with an investigation date within the scope of six years

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Advanced STEM degree is a plus

16 years of experience in industry software development applications

Current B-2 Program AccessExperience managing a team of over 50 people

Experience using model driven development tools (Rhapsody) and real-time operating systems (Integrity, VxWorks)

Experience with prime subcontracts roles and relationshipsFluent in Jovial, C, C++, and Object Oriented Design

Fluent in Python, Matlab, or other scripting languages
