AWS provides the largest storage services in the world, including Simple Storage Service (S3), Glacier, and Elastic Block Storage (EBS) which all fall under our Block and Object Storage services portfolio.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Communications Lead to effectively communicate our storage strategy to our customers. In this role, you will develop strategic messaging and manage external communications for the VP of AWS Block & Object storage. You will partner with Marketing and PR to develop compelling and situational messaging related to our storage portfolio. You will also support internal communications mechanisms (All Hands, Leadership Development Series, and Inclusion and Diversity talks).

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, self-motivated communications professional who can operate in a high-velocity environment and deliver high-quality results. You have exceptional copy-writing and editing skills for both original content as well as rewriting and optimizing content from subject matter experts. In your career you must have demonstrated successful executive presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence others.

Responsibilities include:
· Write messaging and content for executive talks and other leadership communications.
· Manage end-to-end execution of communications, including assessment, writing and review for a variety of delivery channels including re:Invent, conferences and press releases.
· Serve as program lead to ensure opportunities to communicate are bar raising in both content and delivery.

· 7+ years of internal or external communications experience, preferably at a high-growth, technology company.
· 3+ years of experience supporting executive communications for senior leaders.
· Bachelor€™s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate clear messages to a various audiences.
· Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


· Master€™s degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.
· Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once.
· Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
