AWS Partner Program Manager



The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partners Program Manager is an integral part of the Public Sector (PS) Partner Programs team and in a key position to help grow our cloud computing business making an impact in an exciting, growing market. In this Partner PM role, you will own the development and operation of specific programs that help partners achieve a competitive advantage. You will work cross-functionally with AWS partner and technical teams to scope and build requirements for programs that will solve partner needs. The ideal candidate is experienced with product management, program development, management, reporting, training stakeholders, communications strategy development and execution, and is highly organized. You must have an understanding of AWS Services and can work with technical stakeholders to define systems/tooling needs for new programs. You must have the ability and initiative to understand complex business needs and solve them with product and tooling solutions. You must thrive in a fast paced environment.

Core Roles & Responsibilities
· Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand partner challenges.
· Leverage your AWS and product knowledge solving highly complex business challenges through programmatic solutions including working with technical stakeholders on program design.
· Develop data-driven narrative proposals for new initiatives or evolving programs, including return on investment profile and financial analysis.
· Manage Programs like a Product, leveraging your technical background to build program enhancements and feature design with technical stakeholders.
· Operationalize programs in desired geography including program recruitment, adoption, reporting, feature roadmap, and problem resolution.
· Develop and mature mechanisms to deeply understand customer and partner needs, gaps, and opportunities.
· Work with subject matter experts, development partners, and other stakeholders to develop internal content when needed that meets audience and program requirements in creative and engaging ways
15-20% travel to include international locations

· 7+ years of work experience with solid career progression in program or product management
· Demonstrated experience in cloud computing
· Demonstrated experience working with channel or alliance partners to solve customers€™ business needs
· Demonstrated experience in public sector
· Bachelor€™s degree or equivalent experience


· Strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and develop written material for external stakeholders
· Understanding of partner/channel relationships and sales strategies
· Global public sector experience
· Deep understanding of AWS services
· Ability to provide creative practical solutions to problems
· Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
