Against that backdrop, Humana is seeking an accomplished go-to-market professional to join our organization in the role of AVP, Guidance Centers. Guidance Centers are a portfolio of more than 55 retail locations where Humana members and other consumers can experience the Humana brand promise in a high-touch, retail setting, to include health education and improvement programs, clinical support, health screenings, customer service support, agent/sales support, and peer social engagement.This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion, drive strategy and execution, and collaborate with leaders and teams across the enterprise. The AVP will work closely with our Marketing leadership team and with line of business leaders to support business objectives and maintain segment leadership relationships. He/she will be a go-to-market thought leader providing trusted counsel on marketing and experience direction, engagement strategies, and enablement. The AVP, Guidance Centers will lead a team of seven associates and will report directly to the Vice President of Healthcare Services and Physician Marketing. This position will be based at Humanas corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY. Relocation assistance will be provided. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities + Manage existing portfolio of 56 retail locations and plan for and execute launches of new locations (14 planned through Q1 2020). Management includes physical locations, recruiting, training, developing, and performance management of field based associates and corporate-shared services associates, calendaring programming and other key processes, and day-to-day usage of proprietary CRM system for visitor tracking + Develop and execute culture shaping strategies to attract and retain key talent and align Guidance Center culture to brand and experience goals + Partner with analytics resources and market research teams to develop consumer and provider segmentation and insights to inform priority targets and goals, programming, experience design, and engagement marketing + Partner with Healthcare Services ECOM and other clinical teams to align programming to clinical strategy and goals + Partner with Humana Pharmacy to develop member education strategy for HP + Partner with Humana Healthcare Research, clinical analytics, and enterprise test and learn teams to develop approach to measuring clinical value of Guidance Center interventions + Partner with cross-functional teams of insights developers and business leaders to develop measurement strategies for other areas of business value to include brand perceptions, consumer loyalty, and sales + Develop and execute management dashboards; partner with market leaders to customize to specific market needs where applicable + Develop new health programming and manage lifecycle of existing health programs and services + Partner with Engagement Marketing and provider brand teams to (1) build in Guidance Centers as a channel for engagement in existing health campaigns, and (2) provide growth and visitation goals and programming schedules to inform engagement marketing campaigns + Conduct analysis, identify opportunities by segment, develop strategies and goals, determine facility plans, and identify capital, IT, and operational budget requirements as part of annual strategic plan development + Partner with market leaders and Workforce Solutions to develop and execute on capital investment plans + Manage execution of strategic plan and priorities and report out on progress to key stakeholders monthly and/or quarterly + Partner with Market Point leaders, regional P&L leaders, and Customer Service leaders to manage performance of Guidance center locations, hold monthly performance review meetings, and identify and execute performance improvement strategies + Partner with CDO to support it with shared services capabilities such as associate training programs, health content, health programming, etc + Determine data integrity strategy and work with teams to manage data quality for CRM data capture across all retail locations Key Candidate Qualifications In general terms, the ideal candidate will have marketing, customer experience, and retail leadership experience. He/she will be a big picture thinker with a high level of business acumen and an MBA or Masters degree in Marketing or a related communications field. In addition, the following qualifications and attributes are sought: + Record of success with building and managing diverse teams of part time, full time, hourly, salaried, corporate, and field based resources + Proven track record in culture shaping, team development and preparing direct reports for upward mobility + Successful history of establishing management processes, metrics, and goal setting and holding teams accountable + Proven expertise in segmentation and customer needs and behaviors insights gathering and application of insights to marketing, experience design, and product development + Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritizing diverse sets of projects and business partner relationships + Proven business development and/or product development experience + Experience establishing successful community and/or brand affinity partnerships and grassroots marketing + Brand marketing expertise and with examples of bringing the brand to life outside of advertising or communications + Exceptional oral and written communications skills + The polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences particularly senior leaders in the markets + Excellent collaboration skills with Marketing leadership, peers, and associates both matrix and direct + Experience with provider marketing + Experience working with consumers with social and/or behavioral challenges, and/or a demonstrated track record of showing empathy to diverse groups of consumers Additional Information Up to 50% travel expected in this role.
