Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a **Associate Project Management** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in **El Segundo , CA.**

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager in all aspects of cost, schedule and technical performance. PM roles and responsibilities include:

+ Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
+ Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques, and ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
+ Assist during meetings to identify issues, capture and status action items.
+ Generates and distributes agenda & minutes of meetings with assigned actions
+ Assist in timely and effective root cause investigation and corrective action implementation in support of program plans and goals
+ Engage in the preparation and execution of and for program-related meetings, proposals, business plans, work statements & specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
+ Act as a customer contact for program activities, as directed
+ Support establishment of milestones and monitors adherence to schedules, identifies program problems and recommends solutions
+ Support a robust, proactive Risk/Opportunity Management process
+ Support development of new business opportunities, or expands current lines of business with the customer



+ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and executive leadership
+ Ability to perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis and make recommendations to solve problems
+ Ability to create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in business or related field with 0 to 6 months Project Management experience OR 8 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ AA/AS Degree with 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelors

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with Microsoft Office
