This role is part of the Market and Business Intelligence (MBI) team within the Market and Consumer Insights (MCI) group. The goal of the team is to support enterprise decision-making and strategy development by providing relevant consumer and business insightsto ensure they are shared, understood, and used in service of the customer and the growth of the enterprise. The MBI team exists to serve the enterprise as tactical advisors and strategic partners who clarify and contextualize business performance, curate intelligence and insights to inspire strategic exploration, and provide decision support to inform & future-proof strategic initiatives.

This role will work cross-functionally across the Business Intelligence and Market Intelligence functions of the MBI team. This role will execute regular cadence reporting and ad-hoc analyses for the MBI team and examine variances in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) when additional context needs to be explored. Moreover, this role will perform analyses to supplement existing analytics and research knowledge-base by examining industry and competitive trends, contributing to white-papers, and aid in the process of enhancing our data warehouse.

The individual in this role will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to effectively communicate and present findings to clients. In addition, this individual will be passionate about learning all aspects of our business, collaborating with others, working with top BI analytics tools, and exploring internal (customer, transactional, behavioral) and external (market, government, survey) data sources.

**What will you do?**

+ Execute recurring and ad-hoc business and customer reporting and analytics

+ Provide analysis support for complex decision support & diagnostic projects across the MBI team

+ Provide subject matter expertise for internal and external data sources used by the MBI team

+ Communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups, including both technical and non-technical audiences

**Basic Requirements (You must meet or exceed all basic requirements to be eligible):**

+ 5 or more years of database analytics experience using multiple databases

+ 5 or more years of SQL experience

+ 5 or more years of working on projects experience and ability to work autonomously.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 4 year degree in marketing research, mathematics, statistics, economics, or other quantitative field of study or Master's Degree

+ 5 or more years of experience consumer electronics retail analytics or low-transaction frequency retail business analytics, leveraging transactional, demographic, and survey data.

+ 3 or more years of UNIX scripting experience with the ability to schedule analytical processes or ETL jobs.

+ 3 or more years of experience using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS EMiner to infer statistical differences amongst millions of customer records and infrequent transactional behaviors.

+ 3 or more years using statistical methods, with a working practitioners knowledge of time series forecasting, clustering, matched-pairs, t-tests, factor analysis, tree-based models, generalized linear modeling, sampling, and survey design and measurement.

+ Ability to clearly communicate insights, implications and recommendations to non-technical business people, as well as Senior Leadership.

+ Strong client management skills and experience with end-to-end project management
