Associate Director: Reporting, Analytics & Budget Management - Digital Media

This exciting opportunity is within the Consumer Media organization in the Global Marketing Group. This team is responsible for full funnel media strategy from driving awareness and consideration to generating digital traffic for multiple channels within the Company across all Consumer Lines of Business including Post paid Wireless, Video and AT&T Internet. The Associate Director position will lead a team of people focusing on reporting, insights, analytics and budget management of the entire Consumer Media portfolio.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Measuring, analyzing and forecasting traffic and sales across all Consumer products and numerous channel tactics (Paid Search, Display, Social Media and Mass Media Tactics).
  • Responsible for overall budget planning management, execution and oversight.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills across all levels of management, a deep understanding of media and marketing strategies and ability to dig into data to provide actionable insights for the extended team to drive overall performance.
  • Demonstrates an understanding in and knowledge of digital and emerging media platforms
  • Develop the appropriate reports and insights needed to collaborate with the Media team owners to lead the optimization and tracking of digital plans across all tactics
  • Interface well with other teams in a matrix organization, including various cross-channel leadership and agencies.
  • Extensive experience with developing and understanding financial models, dashboards and will preferably have experience owning a P&L.
  • Experience developing executive level presentations and succinctly communicating a story through PowerPoint slides and/or delivering a concise readout verbally will be key assets in this role.
  • This position will be interfacing across internal Media teams, Marketing, Product, Finance, Regions, OEM partners and in particular the channel teams: Call Centers and Digital Experience teams.
  • Strong background in Media is a must and experience in Marketing, Finance and Analytics are all key attributes as this role will require aspects from each of them to be successful.

    • 7+ years of experience in Media, particularly Digital media
    • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing
    • 7+ years of experience with finance, accounting, sales, and service/support programs and analyzing their effectiveness
    • Previous Media Analytics role at a Corporation or Media agency critical
    • Collaborative and team-oriented with exceptional organizational, written and oral communication and negotiation skills
    • Proficient at solving highly complex unstructured problems through strategic qualitative insights as well as data-driven insights
    • Adept at leading a geographically diverse direct report team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • 7+ years of experience in Media, particularly Digital media
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • 7+ years of experience with finance, accounting, sales, and service/support programs and analyzing their effectiveness
  • Previous Media Analytics role at a Corporation or Media agency critical
