**JOBSUMMARY**



As an
Associate Product Manager on our product management team, you will lead the
development of products that solve business and user problems by collaborating
with others.




+ Defineand manage product requirements for developers that provide the best solutionfor business needs and market requirements.

+ Workwith Business stakeholders and conduct Demos, UAT testing, and guidance asProduct SME.

+ Serveas agile/scrum product owner. Attend daily stand-ups, provide guidance, andresolve impediments. Reduce scope when effort exceeds value.

+ Builda strong partnership with developers and quality assurance. Collaborate to findefficient ways to satisfy business and user needs.

+ Prioritizework and that of the development team based on relative importance to thebusiness. Prioritize the agile backlog accordingly. Track status of each userstory. Report overall progress.

+ Composetechnical information into clear, concise product documentation for technicaland non-technical audiences.

+ Usean approach that allows maximum flexibility through the use of configurationoptions, such that an array of client needs can be met without requiringadditional development work.

**ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Workclosely with market-facing product management staff to understand the needs ofeach market segment as they pertain to assigned product and initiatives.Critically evaluate information gained from multiple sources; reconcileconflicting inputs, through configurations where appropriate.

+ Championthe product vision, strategy and roadmap to internal peers. Share productenhancement ideas and their relative priority with market-facing product managementstaff.

+ Defineand manage product requirements for developers that provide the best solutionfor business needs and market requirements conveyed by market-facing productmanagement staff.

+ Documentationincludes user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, data andprocess flows, plus functional and technical specifications whenwarranted."

+ Usean approach that allows maximum flexibility through the use of configurationoptions, such that an array of client needs can be met without requiringadditional development work. Set up the default product configuration that willbe the starting point for client implementations.

+ Useknowledge and experience to identify interdependencies as well as opportunitiesto leverage existing functionality for newly defined needs. Learn and applyknowledge of current technologies/concepts (e.g., system architecture, softwaredevelopment languages, API web services, Hadoop, SQL)

+ Consistentlyaddress performance & reliability, compliance & security, usability& design, analytics & reporting, admin & content management, andbrowser use & compatibility.

+ Createannotated user interface wireframes using content, leveraging work by userexperience designer.

+ Builda strong partnership with developers and quality assurance. Collaborate to findefficient ways to satisfy business and user needs.

+ Prioritizeown work and that of the development team based on relative importance to thebusiness. Prioritize the agile backlog accordingly. Track status of each userstory. Report overall progress.

+ Reviewtech solution design and dev work. Conduct initial User Acceptance Testing(UAT).

+ Identifypotential issues and resolve when possible; Anticipate risks and plan tomitigate those that would be severe.

+ Facilitateprocess revisions with Implementation team if warranted.

+ Composetechnical information into clear, concise product documentation for technicaland non-technical audiences.

+ Trainothers internally on both the product and recent development.

+ Knowall common and advanced capabilities and configurations for assigned product.

+ Participatein retrospectives to assess what is working well and lessons learned; proposeprocess improvements.

+ Trainnewer members of the team.

+ Leadmedium cross-enterprise teams.









**FREQUENTINTERACTIONS:**



+ Youwill frequently interact with product management team members and Dev/QA. Youwill also interact with product training, product support and implementation.In addition, you will learn from users.

**EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE**


_Includeminimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to performthe job._




+ _Degree in ComputerScience or a related major and minimum 2.5 year of software product managementor business analysis experience_

+ _Or any bachelor degreeand minimum 4.5 years of product management or business analysis experience_

+ _Prefer experience inhealthcare, such as clinical quality and/or financial products_

+ _Preferexperience in agile, scrum or kanban_
