Assistant Marketing Manager, Digital Acquisition Channel Cardmember Referral Programs (1 Year Contract)

As a key member of the Acquisition team, you will be responsible for driving card volume and billed business through online channels. You are expected to demonstrate innovative thinking to move business forward, and excellent execution skills to deliver the results working with internal teams, external partners and agencies. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital channels, excellent analytical skills, aptitude towards innovation, strong communication skills which are all indispensable to success in the role. Core responsibilities will include: * Aligning with external and internal partners on business plans; and ensuring continued alignment through regular updates with key stakeholders * Driving profitable acquisition of cards and drive campaigns within budget and timelines * Continuously expand and optimize digital channels (including our Cardmember referral program, partner channels, site, search, display media, social, mobile, etc.) to deliver against planned goals * Analyzing acquisition results that inform future business strategy * Creating annual channel plan and build forecasts based on existing and new opportunities, and taking into account past performance, market environment and competitive analysis * Coordinating key work streams with Amex central Interactive teams * Liaising with key stakeholders across the Blue Box (Operations, Technologies etc.) to implement new capabilities that drive business growth and incremental card acquisition volume * Being an active digital evangelist to instill digital first thinking across the organization * Working with Card Product owners to provide business insights and up-to-date information on acquisition volumes for the channels owned * Competitor and marketplace analysis * Working with Central and International teams to share best practices * Financial analysis, working closely with the Central Interactive and local MIS teams * Marketing and Creative development, working closely with Agencies and Acquisition teams This role may be subject to additional background verification checks. Based on business needs upon conclusion of the contract, there may be an opportunity for extension.
