As an Assembler, you will be a part of a team structure that assembles devices
in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures, under direct
supervision. Performs various other area tasks according to training and
department needs. The job is typically
performed inside of a Controlled Environment Area (Clean room). This position
has the responsibility and authority to, under general supervision, learn and
perform assembly to company standard per build documentation.

**A Day in the Life** (Day-to-Day
Responsibilities):


In this exciting role you will:


+ Performs a variety of tasksranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations onelectronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules,boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

+ Works from visual aids, methodlayouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbalassembly instructions.

+ Sets initial layouts, anduses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

+ Makes continuity checks onwork in process and completed.

+ May conduct quality inspectionson processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

+ May disassemble, modify,rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies andsubassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

+ Notifies lead/Supervisor ofany problems encountered. Participates in problem solving activities asrequired.

+ Gains and applies knowledgeof product assembly procedures and documentation (i.e. Drawings, routers, BOMs,etc.) for multiple product types and processes in given functional area.

+ Achieves good workingknowledge of tools and equipment necessary to assemble product. Ensures toolingand equipment is used per applicable documentation.

+ Keeps accurate records ofwork performed, products produced and traceability.

+ Daily responsibilities mayinclude opening and closing work orders and issuance of material to the workorders.

+ Learns safety proceduresand applies necessary safety rules to work area and assembly process, includinginformation contained in MSDS.


**Must Have**
Minimum Qualifications


+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 4+ Years in medical deviceor manufacturing environment


**Nice to Have**
Preferred Qualifications


+ Basic reading comprehensionin English language and basic math

+ Ability to completerequired company documentation accurately

+ Very good manual dexterityskills

+ Willingness to be flexible,team oriented and open minded to new processes or changes in direction

+ Previous experience withina team environment, desire for collaboration in order to problem solve andachieve business objectives
